In DELPHYQ, you play the role of an enigmatic mastermind in command of an elite, hand-picked group of individuals called the Operatives. The world is ruled by an oppressive corporate armistice known as The Balance, and it is your job to bring it down at all costs.
Based on available intel, the mastermind chooses the next mission and creates a deliberate plan of attack. Consider your Operatives’ unique skills and abilities to author the most effective approach for each mission and capture as many objectives as possible.
Use available Intel for each mission to your advantage. If you have enough credits, you can also buy Intel from Informers.
Plan the best route through your objectives from the insertion point to the extraction point. Completing your mission before reinforcements arrive is key.
If you have Enemy Intel for a mission, you can be more prepared for the battle ahead of you.
Your Operatives are unique in their capabilities. Assign them to a mission according to your planned approach.
These filters will help you analyze available intel for your planning.
These informants will help you with valuable information and services…if you can afford them with your limited resources.
The Mastermind knows its units and sees the battlefield well. Lead your Operatives by guiding them in the battlefield. Establish waypoints and identify flanking opportunities. Use your Operatives effectively by coordinating their actions via Go Codes and prioritizing critical targets. The Mastermind ensures that the Operatives are tactically efficient in combat, reaching their objectives, and extracting safely.
Provide your units tactical way points and watch them execute.
Use COVER to your advantage at any given opportunity. This is real combat…not a game.
Enemies are smart. They take advantage of cover as well.
Expose your enemies by flanking them.
Various tactical options are available such as GoCodes to coordinate your teams actions. Remember, there’s no “I” in TEAM.
Your Operatives have special offensive and defensive abilities. Use them well.
The Mastermind continually gathers valuable assets towards the end goal. By taking various objectives in each mission, the Mastermind increases the team’s advantage against a formidable foe in the form of additional intel and loot.
The Mission Results screen provides a summary of everything you acquired in your last mission.
Seizing various mission objectives is critical for your progress in the game. Some objectives let you acquire new Intel for your next missions and/or new advanced technologies that will give your units more abilities.
Unit Summary shows you vital information about the status and condition of your units after each mission. This allows you to ensure that your units survive until the end.
